Dr Stewart Wright was born in Terre Haute, Indiana. He attended Yale University for his undergraduate degree and Yale School of Medicine in Connecticut. His Internship and Residency were at Tufts, New England Medical Center with an additional Residency at Boston Veterans Hospital in Massachusetts in 1966. Dr Wright then joined the US Army where he achieved the rank of Major USAR. He had the position of Assistant Gastroenterologist at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. He also was a teaching associate at the University of Hawaii School of Medicine until his retirement from the service in 1969. For the next two years he practiced gastroenterology and taught at USC Medical School. In 1973 he began practicing in San Bernardino.
In 1994, Dr Wright along with Dr Stanisai and Dr Evans opened Mountain View Surgery Center. Dr Wright is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr Wright enjoys sailing, traveling, golfing and spending time with his grandchildren.
