Dr. Andrea Tieng

Dr. Andrea S. Tieng was born and raised in New York City. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the City University of New York in Brooklyn as part of the highly selective B.A./M.D. program and completed her medical degree at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn (SUNY – Downstate).

Her internship and residency in internal medicine was completed at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York, where she also fulfilled her gastroenterology and hematology fellowship.

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Tieng is licensed to practice in both California and New York. Prior to founding her own practice, she was a private gastroenterologist at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Tieng is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterology Association.

In addition to English, Dr. Tieng is also fluent in Chinese (Cantonese). She is married and her outside interests include playing tennis, swimming, and traveling the world.
