Dr John Robert Evans (Bob) is a California native, born and raised in Southern California. He has a long family tradition of medicine. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University in Utah with a BS in Zoology. He attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia where he obtained his medical degree in 1982. He then went to Loma Linda University for his Internship and Residency. He achieved a Fellowship in Nephrology from Jerry L Pettis Memorial Hospital in Loma Linda and a Fellowship in Gastroenterology from the University of Washington in Seattle. He spent some time as an instructor of medicine at Loma Linda University and has been in private practice for almost 30 years. He is board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and Board Eligible in Nephrology.

Dr Evans enjoys skiing, bicycling and his family. He is a dedicated supporter of his church and its youth programs. Dr Evans along with Dr Stanisai and Dr Wright were the founding members of Mountain View Surgery Center.
